Description

Specially for Halloween – Dinosaur skeletons and Ghostly Pirates are the theme for this exciting and engaging workshop. Children will learn some cool Halloween themed Yoga poses through stories, songs and games. They’ll also get the opportunity to get involved in fun, mindful and creative activities.

Yoga is a great way to get children more active. Challenging, yet accessible to all age groups it has been proven to support concentration, focus and a range of other positive behaviours beyond the session itself.

Yoga Mike is an experienced yoga teacher who has worked extensively with primary schools across the North East and has a dedicated focus on improving children’s mental health and well-being.

This session is suitable for children aged 5-11

Other Info

The sessions are held in our spacious Education room which is secure, away from the public and has its own toilet facilities.

Parents can leave children with facilitators for the duration of the workshop. Either Yoga Mike or one of his expert team will deliver the sessions alongside a first aid trained member of museum staff.

Children can be dropped off and picked up from the museum reception.
